While they may know how to replace standard windshields fine, they are not qualified to work on Teslas. After the windshield replacement, the technician damaged a GPS connector/wire without realizing it and then tried to deny that anything had happened when we went right back after having Tesla look at it! Any Tesla owner knows the vehicle is heavily dependent on GPS, and driving without it is a terrible experience. This turned into multiple visits in a single week just to correct an issue that never should have occurred and they can’t fix it - we will now be bringing it back to Tesla. The technician we dealt with was consistently rude, and management only showed interest once our insurance company became involved. Even then, we were spoken to condescendingly, as if we didn’t understand our own vehicle. I don’t leave negative reviews especially without speaking with management first, but this experience fully earned it after speaking to the manager who was not friendly or helpful. Important advice: If you own a Tesla and need a windshield replacement, make sure your insurance company is aware as most will force you to Safelite. If they attempt to steer you here in Parsipoany push them to use Tesla to do the work instead. Bottom line: fine for conventional cars, absolutely not for Teslas. Manager needs to also do better.

- AMAllison MassaJan 2, 20261.0If I could give zero stars I would. If you have a Tesla, do not go here. If you have a car with a gps system in the rear view mirror compartment, do not go here. After three appointments Tesla had to confirm that Safelight pinched my wire so bad it could not be repaired and had to be replaced. The time spent in this was about 20 hours of my life and multiple trips, missed work and Ubers back and forth. They damaged my car and refused to acknowledge that. I let my insurance company handle it from there.
