There is no cleaner auto place on the planet. From the check-in guy to the technician who did the replacement extremely courteous and helpful. The technician who replaced the windshield did an outstanding job, took his time and was meticulous with detail! Reapplied the inspection sticker, monthly wash label and alarm dongle perfectly!

My experience with Safelite was excellent. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the windshield replacement was completed sooner than anticipated. Frank, the technician was professional, thorough in explaining the process, and very straightforward. I also appreciated that they were able to reapply my inspection sticker, saving me an additional trip to the NJ DMV. The only minor downside was that they had run out of decaf coffee and creamer, but that’s certainly not a big issue. Overall, a smooth and efficient service from start to finish.

This review is not towards the safelite in Parsippany but towards their customers service in general.had an incident where my windshield got cracked by a Lugnut on a highway to make matters worse the car is a lease. Got in contact with a safelite agent He told me about the different options that I have available to me. I made it very clear that I couldn't go with an aftermarket windshield that It had to be an original windshield being that the car is a lease. He tells me no problem They can order one for me and have it at the nearest safelite facility he then gives me a quote of about $1,045.00 give or take then he tells me that he can set me up for an appointment on Saturday at 3pm. i tell him doesn't the facility close at 5pm he tells me that they will stay to finish the job.now i like to read the reviews good and bad and i had read a one star review where a customer had a job rushed because it was brought at 3 in the afternoon knowing this i told the agent that i wanted an Earlier appointment he tells me okay so he sets up an appointment at a Parsippany facility for 7:30 in the morning so far so good. I get a reminder call on Friday midday to confirm Saturday's appointment i tell the agent that yes i was going but i had a nagging feeling about them getting something wrong so i ask the agent if they have me down for an original windshield and not an aftermarket one she tells me no they had set me up for an aftermarket windshield (first red flag) i said to her but i told the agent that i needed an original one she says to me that it's been happening a lot and that a lot of the agent's are new for me this is (second red flag) so i say to her that means i Would've gone and they would've placed an aftermarket windshield on my car. she says nothing i say to her how much would it cost ? She tells me $1,454.00 or more cause of the calibration so i say okay what about the afterpay you advertised on the website the last agent said they can set that up for me at the facility. She says no it has to be done online (Third red flag) So reluctantly, I agree to the appointment. I go online. I set up everything for afterpay.
When I picked the amount that I wanted to pay. I was gonna do 4 installment payments. I picked.
To pay $359.00 When I hit the button to pay a message pops up that my account didn't have the right amount. When I go to my bank account there's enough there for the $359.00 So I do it again. The same message pops up so I take my time and read it. And they were saying that I didn't have enough to cover the $1,454.00.(Fourth red flag) Why advertise installment payments when you're gonna charge the customer the full amount Anyway, that's false advertisement.
When I noticed what they were trying to do.I moved money from my checking to my savings to make sure that even if they wanted to try and take out the 359, they couldn't. I canceled my appointment and I'm writing this review. it's a long review, but I feel that people need to know about this cause. This is bad, this is not good.hope this helps someone

I paid Safelite to recalibrate the sensors on my Tesla model 3 approximately $750 over a week ago. When I picked up the car I was on a highway I put the car in FSD and almost slammed into a jersey barrier. I was able to take control and “experimented “ more and the car would drift over to the left or straddle the lane to my right. I immediately called the Parsippany location where I had the work done and they had closed for the evening. I went to where I was staying sent them an email with a copy of the invoice so they would know who I was and heard nothing. A few days later I turned on my wipers and ALL THE TUBES FOR THE WIPERS WERE JUST HANGING OUT. Nothing was reattached. I’ve used safelite before and never had this level of incompetence before. I recommend AVOIDING the parsippany location.

Initially, my front windshield was replaced with a non-OEM brand, which caused the heads-up display to look blurry. To their credit, the shop agreed to replace it under warranty with an OEM windshield, which I appreciated.
However, when I arrived for my first OEM appointment, I was told the glass hadn’t arrived — and no one had informed me beforehand. They rescheduled me for three weeks later, but a week later called to say the glass was actually in stock and booked a new appointment for 8:00 AM.
Unfortunately, I arrived about 20 minutes late that morning, and they refused to take my car and pushed the appointment out again. After multiple trips and reschedules, I still haven’t had the replacement completed.
The staff were polite, but communication and scheduling could really be improved.
