  A frequent Enterprise user for both work and pleasure as well as an Enterprise+ member. I’ve held off writing a review as a “knee-jerk reaction” but after the 4th negative experience in a row, over a short period of time, I felt it necessary to say something. First experience kept me waiting over 30mins to return a car. Returns should be quicker and easier, especially when there is no “circumstances” to address upon a return. Key drop not provided. Second experience had me waiting close to 45 minutes to pick up a rental. Due to timed work meetings, I ended up leaving and using my own personal vehicle and voiding the rental all together. Third experience is that they never seem to have the car you reserved. I reserved a full size and due to no full sizes available, I was given a small SUV which is usually considered an upgrade. The “upgrade” however smelled of smoke, had cigarette burns in the seat, and was uncomfortable to drive long distances. Fourth experience again did not have the car level reserved so I was given a lower level of car instead. That vehicles warning light came on within 50 miles of leaving the location and subsequently burst a tire on the highway requiring AAA and a vehicle switch at a different location. That vehicle switch ended up putting me in a compact car (reserved full sizes, given a standard, ended up in a compact) which then started to shake after 70mph. Went to switch that one at Dulles Airport and they said they had no cars available, I just needed to keep the vehicle I had and use that to travel from VA to NJ. Appalling customer service, company really does not care about customers. I’ve used Enterprise primarily over the years but now will be looking elsewhere. It’s great for convenience, but I’d rather be inconvenienced with another company and valued as a customer.

  Our experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Oakland, NJ, was very positive. Our contact person there was Samantha, who prepared the paperwork and explained everything swiftly. The vehicle we rented was clean and performed without any issues. We highly recommend Enterprise Rent-A-Car!
