Great customer service! The guy at the desk recommended purchasing the warranty after my tire went flat and it came in handy when I got another flat the next week! Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for quick and honest service!

They declined the tire warranty on my behalf without even mentioning it as an option, spoke with the manager who was to his credit helpful. But then 4 days after getting my tires replaced my pressure light came on. Checked my tires and all 4 of them were over inflated. Not thrilled overall with the quality of service.

This place sucks and I would recommend it to anybody. I took my pickup truck there to get two front tires changed. Later received a call asking if they could re-align the tires, hesitant from what they have done to me in the past I still yes. when I picked up my truck and drove off, I heard a rattling noise coming from the font driver side tire. I went back and had to leave my truck there for another day. the next day when I went, they told me the weights were hitting the caliper. (which if you look it up it tells you, "Yes, wheel weights can hit the caliper if they are not installed correctly.") Then I started my truck up and left within 5 min of driving every warning light was on. I turned my truck on and off and they all disappeared except for the check engine light. I ended up taking my car to the dealership just for them to tell me that my abs module was broken and deemed unsafe to drive. I don't work on my truck, and no one had within the 10 hours it was broken. Mavis won't take responsibility for breaking my module and costing me $1,700 and no truck for holidays. The worst part is this isn't the first time they have messed up my families or my truck. In simple terms I would not recommend this mavis to anyone for they are untrustworthy and don't take accountability for their mechanics screw ups.

Only giving above a 3 star because they didn't screw up getting my wheels and tires on my car, or it would be even lower. Full reason for review below. First, I went online Mavis' website and set an appointment for 9am at the Oakland location to have my wheels and tires swapped to another set of winter wheels/tires. I called that morning around 8am to ensure there weren't going to be any hang ups with it. I was informed by a gentleman that my appointment didn't matter, I would have to drop off the car and pick it up later. I asked why, since I had an appointment and he said "you should have called first". First red flag. He said he had an employee coming in at 10 to try to help them catch up on work, and that i could come at 12 and stay/wait while they changed my wheels/tires, something as fast as a tire rotation (15-20 minutes), so I said sure and booked it. I showed up at 11:50am, and there were no issues, the guy at the front desk said he would let me know when my car went in so I had a good estimate on time. I made sure they had my number correct and walked to Shoprite. I waited at Shoprite about 45 minutes, and got nothing. I assumed they had forgotten to call/text so I went back, and my car had not even gone into the shop yet, at this point it was 1pm, an hour after my appointment. Not trying to complain, as I am sure they were busy for the holidays, I asked to get a call when it was done and went for another walk (they only had 4 chairs in there and older people needed them more than I). After yet another hour, I decided to call them. My car was "just going back now". I headed back, and now 2 hours and 20 minutes after my second scheduled appointment, it was done. BUT THATS NOT ALL. Now I take the car home, no issues, wheels/tires seem to be on fine. I had the seats down flat in the back of my car to hold the wheels and tires. Then I get the tires out my my car through the trunk, take them inside and wash my hands. I go back out to fix my back seat and clean out the back, and there are nasty handprints on the seat back that was folded down. So not only did they lift up my seats and make them nasty, they didn't clean them and then folded them flat again. On top of that, there were gross grease/brake dust marks from their hands on the doors and trunk. Really really piss poor customer service here. I will not be back, and I will be telling everyone I know not to go back. That was just unbelieveable. It is really, REALLY simple to have a bay ready for a scheduled appointment time, and keep customers happy and their cars clean. Mavis has been around a long time, but this location really can't get it right.

I had the absolute worst experience at Mavis of Oakland. In fact, I would never recommend their services to any of my friends our family. I went to get two front tires replaced and when I picked up my truck, it was making horrible clicking sound. Brought it right back to Mavis and they said they didn’t connect something properly. I pick my truck up a second time and my engine light is on! At this point I am so frustrated with Mavis I bring it straight to the dealership, thinking they would just need to reset the sensor. No. Mavis of Oakland, broke my entire ABS module, costing me both time and money.
