They advised me on the right type of tires, which I found out they do more than JUST tires. From their Regional Manager, to their Store Manager and their wonderful technicians, like Ronnie with the ponytail, I received great service!!! They even helped me in what to do myself for other car issues I'm having. Mavis has now become my "go to" shop, especially the one in North Plainfield! Every automotive shop should follow their lead!!!! Tanya Don!!!!

- G2GunnerDS 20xxDec 21, 20251.0I work on my car, I am a mechanic, they sliced my CV boot put dirty grease all over it and tried to sell me a 3k service. Once I told them I work on my own car and I know the CVboot was intact, they said they could not work on my BMW. I just went in to get 2 tires replaced, never going back, going to tell everyone I know and to spread the word about this place. I am in the process of getting in contact with corporate. I wonder how many people these guys have scammed. So sad. PS, just talked with their regional manager, she claims that she reviewed the camera footage and saw nothing wrong, I asked if I could review it and she said no, so the investigation stops there according to her. My intention for writing this review was to expose what this shop has done to me, I am not looking for compensation at all, I already changed the CVboot. Imagine your grandparents getting scammed, that is why I'm so upset. I will keep spreading the word about this place and will reach out to audit communities to keep these guys in check.
- KKKrystalynn Kelly (Krys)Dec 17, 20251.0i've come before had an okay experience. not good, not terrible. simply okay. sub par at best. this last one? has me ready to contact the better business bureau. the estimate was insane as it was. they way they spoke down to me was already questionable. the way the managers screamed at their employees IN FRONT OF paying customers is atrocious. the main one? cody? needs an anger management class. this was my worst ever experience at a shop and i am NEVER coming back!! if you are a woman/not generally knowledgeable w cars STAY AWAY !! EDIT - all of these "new" reviews are literally cody's employees/friends. talk about an abuse of power. i can't wait to call corporate <3
