When I was ready to go to the store to pick up my purchase I reviewed my inbox and became aware the both my orders were cancelled. I called the store where I placed the order and explained to the associate that I was confused as to why my order was cancelled because parts were in stock. The store associate was not helpful as he made me aware that online orders are not something he handles so he couldn’t give me more information as to why it was cancelled. This is not the first time that I have trouble at this store. I decided to go to and purchase my items from the AutoZone on Secaucus road in Jersey City instead.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
