  DO NOT GO HERE! I went in and got an alignment, 2 tires replaced, and checks for multiple potential issues. They told me I needed to get all break pads and rotors replaced (which was true), a new battery, and new shocks. I took my car to another place after the first fix for my tires and they told me that the battery was completely fine and I did not need new shocks. I would have spent hundreds more on things that were not necessary. The guy at Mavis lied to my face and attempted to appear genuine. He even knocked off $50; probably in hopes I would come back and spend hundreds more on things I didn’t need. The other place I went to told me that this is the third car they had in the past 2 weeks that Mavis said needed new shocks. They are running a scam on customers just to make a few hundred more dollars at our expense. They fixed the problems I came in for, but if they say you need more work done go anywhere else to get them fixed and checked to avoid being scammed.

  Chris took my tire with a nail in it -without an appointment and fixed it immediately! The service was terrific and he and his team gave me peace of mind knowing I would be safe on the road, Thank you!

  This review is specifically about the Mavis Discount Tire located at 103 Independence Dr, Milford, PA 18337. This is not the place to go for a vehicle inspection. I went in expecting a thorough and honest inspection, but the experience left me feeling like the goal was to find problems just to sell more work. After reading other reviews, it seems like this has happened to a lot of people at this Milford location. Customers report being told about issues that other mechanics later said were unnecessary or exaggerated. That raises serious concerns about how inspections are being handled here. A friend who previously worked for Mavis told me that managers can have sales quotas, which could explain why customers feel pressured into additional repairs. If you need an inspection, I strongly recommend going somewhere else and getting a second opinion if this shop tells you something major is wrong. I would especially caution anyone with elderly family members to be careful about bringing them here, as they may be more vulnerable to being pressured into unnecessary repairs.

  Mavis Tire was kind enough to install a new tire (purchased elsewhere) on our snowblower at no charge. It was just before a big storm and I'm sure they were busy trying to get through their work for the day so they could head home. It was so nice of them and we really appreciated it! Highly recommend!

  I can’t say enough good things about the team at Mavis in Newton, NJ. They are always kind, professional, and truly helpful. This past Sunday morning I had an issue after running over something unavoidable in the road and they took my car in right away. It turned out that a nail had punctured both of my passenger-side tires. The staff handled everything quickly and calmly, explained what was going on, and got me safely back on the road. They’re not only reliable but also very reasonable with pricing, which is so appreciated. It’s rare to find a place you can genuinely trust with your car, but this location has earned that trust. Thank you, Mavis, for the great service! 🚗🔧
