  A really positive experience all around, especially that I am not experienced when it comes to renting cars. However, I do think that this will always be my first choice. When it came to picking up the car, Moe was very helpful and was very kind. When dropping off the car, Ron (Guy with the glasses) really helped to ensure a smooth process, especially given the weather, the delays and the essence of time. Personally a great thank you for me. And the car drove well No complaints

  Very disappointed. Was actually a big fan of SIXT since 2018. Since added AI cameras to “detect damage” upon car rental return, but marks dust and dirt as major scratches. They tried to charge me to replace the entire bumper ($1.5k+); definitely make sure to use credit card insurance to avoid this mess. Really wanted to like SIXT, sadly won’t be using again

  DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. If zero stars were possible, that is what this review would be. The rental itself went smoothly, and the vehicle was returned on time and inspected by an employee who confirmed everything was fine at check-in. There were no issues raised at the time of return. 7 Weeks later long after I had returned the car I received a damage claim alleging that there was damage to the vehicle along with administrative fees, and additional charges in the amount of over $1500. The funny part is that the inspection that was performed 7 week after I had returned the vehicle and 800 miles away from my return location. This has to be the biggest scam ever, think about how many customers they do this to. Sure they offer low rental fees but now I see why, as a customer, this is extremely concerning. Once I returned the car and it was inspected and accepted at return, I reasonably expect the transaction to be finished. Receiving a significant bill 7 weeks later, is just unacceptable. I strongly recommend that anyone renting from Sixth rental car, also if you do rent, make sure to document the vehicle carefully at pickup and return and make sure they sign that there was no damages to the vehicle., also take photos and video, and keep all records even after the rental is closed. Pay a little more but rent from another company.

  Picked the vehicle from Mewark, NJ, like around 3 weeks ago and found on the highway that my car has no washer fluid, I was not able to see anything in front of me because trailer in front of me made a big mess on my windshield, I managed to pull over and clean the windshield with water ( luckily had a bottle of water) and end up to a gas station. It was horrible experience which I never had before, I am travelling from last 10 years and first time rent the vehicle from SIXT but will never go back to SIXT.

  Absolutely AWFUL experience with this company. They will try to lure you in with their fancy models. DO NOT rent from this company. Their support team is terrible, and will not help you in case of emergencies. The car that was given to me had an air bubble which was confirmed by my mechanic that I have gone to for years. SIXT would not provide me a price for a tow. I had to confirm that I wanted the tow prior to confirming. They said they would reimburse me afterwards via the claims department. The claims department has not gotten back to me in 2 months. They are swindlers. Save yourself time and money. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Go with a more reliable rental company. It's not worth it at all.
