Also, my car had some sort of greasy splatter smearing the windshield and the rear view mirror that I couldn’t see until the sun hit it, while I was on the highway. Had to pull over and buy windex.

Today I had to wait >1 hour for my car to be ready. It caused me to miss an in-person meeting I was hosting. They do not necessarily provide you with a full gas tank. Today's was half full when I picked up the car. I requested a non-smoking car, but they can't guarantee that. They just do their best to try to clean it and mask the scent. The sales reps at this location are good. Today, Maria did what she could to try her best to make things as right as possible. But if you're coming to the Newark area for business, the many rental car options at EWR meet more of the needs and expectations for business travelers. Update: the manager for the facility called to understand all the issues that I had, took steps to compensate me, and said he would personally assist to help avoid the issues from reoccurring. I appreciate his commitment to make things right.
