    I’ve been to several AutoZones and even Advance Auto Parts over the last couple of days, and every single one declined to install my battery—either because it was located behind the passenger seat or because they were short-staffed. I was honestly ready to give up. I stopped at one last AutoZone, and that’s where everything changed. One associate took the time to actually look at where my battery was. He confirmed it was accessible but explained that due to policy, he couldn’t install it. He passed the info to his coworker, Issac, who told me he’d help if I had the tool to remove the battery. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the tool in stock, so I figured I’d just take the loss and come back another day. But when I tried to leave, my car wouldn’t start again. My portable jump starter didn’t work—nothing. I asked if they could give me a jump. Their shop jumper didn’t work, and even Issac’s pickup truck failed to get it going. Here’s where the story becomes legendary. Issac refused to let me get stranded. He didn’t want to see me pay for a tow, so despite his supervisor not wanting him to help, he took it upon himself to go above and beyond. He rolled up his sleeves and helped me change out my battery right there in the lot—something he absolutely did not have to do. Issac showed what real customer service looks like: compassion, initiative, and heart. Sometimes it takes stepping outside the rulebook to actually help someone, and Issac did exactly that. He saved my day, my wallet, and my sanity. Issac, you are GREAT. I truly appreciate you for doing the unthinkable and helping me through a stressful situation. You deserve all the flowers. AutoZone, I hope you see the value of employees like him—because he’s the reason customers come back.

    The 5-stars is for Issaac. Great customer service - polite, attentive, and professional. He helped install my battery. Side note: I do think I was beat over the head with the platinum vs gold Durlast battery….but I”ll leave that review for another time. This purchase was not with Issaac or this Auto Zone but was encouraged to keep it he platinum 🫤

    My battery died and I received a jumpstart from a coworker then the engine light turned on. TJ greeted me and assisted me in resolving the issue. Justin scanned my vehicle and after he assessed it, the issue was resolved. I'm grateful for both of them! Check them out if you have an issue. They were friendly and professional. 5 STAR service...thank you so much for everything!!!
