- RBRoan BlanchardDec 14, 20252.0Very unprofessional and slimy business tactics. I would not recommend coming here. My wife brought in our car to get a rotation, balance, and battery check. I was told that since I bought the tires here I would get free rotations. But my wife came home with a bill for $70 and when I called and asked the guy said it’s $180 for the balance and the rotation is “free” and he “gave her a discount” on the balance. $180 is insane for a balance. And they didn’t even check my battery because they claim they don’t service EV batteries. Even though 12v batteries on EVs are exactly the same as gas car batteries, they still refused to touch it which just shows a lack of understanding and professionalism around EVs. They also very obviously were making fun of my wife to her face for asking about the 12v battery which is extremely unprofessional. They did actually rotate and balance my tires so that’s why it’s not 1 star but I think I’m being generous with 2. Do not come here. Unprofessional, behind the times, and overtly sexist.

Should have just stuck with regular mechanic but he didn’t work weekends. These people are not held liable for anything / the reviews on Yelp are more credible. Definitely tried to take advantage of the fact that I was coming in as a woman and tried to upsell me services - kept asking them if they do the service that I needed and they kept saying yes. Some of the mechanics had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Came in wanting only my tires to be rebalanced and left feeling like my entire car was going to fall apart and it gave me a lot of anxiety until the next day. If I really needed those services then they should have explained it better instead of half assed explanations. Based off the review a I read they don’t take accountability and just ask to call the number. Very disorganized, predatory practices, very deceptive. I asked them to explain the explanation they gave me again and they gave me another explanation. Also gave them some bait - asked them if I need to replace the whole part and they said yes. Had a second opinion and nothing was wrong. What Mavis did here was incredibly wrong, and these guys are underpaid so they’ll do whatever they can to make a quick buck. Horrible to treat your customers like that. The person who comments to this will likely just tell me to respond via phone but just remember that if you call / that’s so that you don’t have a written record on your end and that’s how they get around it.
