- DDDT DT4 days ago1.0What a horrible experience, setup an appointment for a simple oil change. The guy quoted $95 for synthetic oil and said would accept the $25 Black Friday coupon. So, the math comes out to $70 and of course the usual line "don't worry we'll take care of you". So my takes the car there and the total is now $85. So very typical, they see a woman and the price is different. She calls me up and I ask to speak with the guy and he refuses. I could overhear him yelling at my wife, that he would not talk to anybody over $15. If she wants to waste her time over $15, she can go elsewhere. Out of principle, I told her to come back home. It was the first and the last time at Mavis. I guess a national chain is just as likely to charge female tax.
