- RKRaza KhanOct 15, 20251.0Mechanic is untrustworthy and unreliable. Does not run proper diagnostics when my father brought the car in for potential battery issue due to a slow crank. When the issue was not fixed after spending $500 for a new altenator I decided to show up and asked if he ran the proper tests (load test) to see if it was the alternator before he made my elderly father pay $500 for a new alternator. The mechanic said he just checked the voltage that read 12v and assumed it was the alternator instead of running the proper tests. We brought the car back with same slow crank issues and THEN he ran the load test because i was there and called him out. He then showed me the reading showed a weak battery. When i asked why this wasnt done initially when my father was there, he had no valid response. The shop refused to reimburse us for the part, and refused to eat the cost of a battery because they falsely diagnosed the issue. When I asked where the original alternator was so we can return the new one he falsely charged us for 2 days prior, he had said the parts store took it that he ordered it from. When I asked him for the name of the parts store that he bought the alternator from, he had no response and did not want to answer me. I will be reaching out to the better business bureau. SHADY BUSINESS! DO NOT BRING UR CAR HERE FOR ANY REPAIRS!!
