  Ben, Mike, and Chris made our car buying experience exceptional. Ben is the best salesperson I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. He made the process relaxing and fun. As soon as you step foot on the lot you can tell it’s not your typical car dealership. I cannot say enough great things about our experience. We liked them so much that my wife and I both ended up buying new Volvo at the same time. If you’re even thinking about buying a Volvo, you must stop at Volvo Cars Manasquan.

  After searching near and far for the perfect used XC60 that had all the features we wanted, had the number of miles that was acceptable and was the color we wanted, Volvo Cars of Manasquan had 4 options. After calling and speaking to a salesman, Ian Welger, he went above and beyond to locate all 4 models and find the one that would work best for our family. He took pictures and videos so we could see every square inch of the vehicle before we decided to have my husband fly from Appleton, WI to Newark, NJ to purchase from them. Ian made the whole process seamless by giving him directions to take the train from the airport to the local station where he was there to greet him. While he was there, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. After the purchasing process was over (which was also seamless), they sent him on his way with 2 bags of food and drink for the 1,100 mile drive home. They mentioned over and over while he was there and during the few times I was on the phone with Ian that once you purchase from them you become family. They proved that correct when we had a minor issue with the backseat windows and our local Volvo dealership was unhelpful and uncooperative. After calling Ian about the issue it was quickly addressed and is currently being resolved to our liking. If only we could travel to Manasquan with all our Volvo service needs. Needless to say, when we need our next Volvo, Volvo Cars of Manasquan and Ian Welger will be the only place we go! We are proud to be a part of the Volvo Cars of Manasquan family!!

  I cannot say enough good things about our car buying experience with Volvo Cars Manasquan! Their no pressure environment is such a breath of fresh air. I started working with Ben several months ago when we stopped in to test drive a couple of vehicles. I wasn’t ready to purchase that day as I was checking out some other brands as well. I was honest with Ben about that and he didn’t pressure me, he just showed me what I asked to look at and we had a fun couple of hours test driving and discussing Volvo vehicles. A few months later my wife and I went back, but now, because of the great experience we had test driving and speaking with Ben, we were both looking to purchase a Volvo vehicle. The entire process was very laidback and fun. It was a pleasure working with Ben, Mike, and Chris. We spent a few hours there but most of that time was filled with great conversation and a lot of laughs. I’ve never experienced a car dealership like this before. My wife and I are thrilled with our purchases and are excited to be a part of the Volvo Cars Manasquan family!

  Ask for Trisha! She was truly incredible — really went above and beyond. Her and her team, especially Chris, Cole, and Jeane, made everything comfortable and easy—we didn’t feel like we were at a typical dealership at all. Out of all the luxury dealerships, this was one of the few times we actually felt really taken care of. I’ll definitely be going back to Trisha when it’s time for my next Volvo!

  I waited to write this review until a few weeks after the purchase and I am glad I did. I will say the initial day we bought our car was a good experience but after that was very disappointing. We bought a 1 year old CPO and the day after the purchase we noticed some significant damage to the rims. The Volvo CPO program says that the vehicle is inspected for cosmetic damage so we contacted the dealer about having the rims repaired. We were initially told no and had to speak with the GM who agreed that they should be repaired at no cost which was great. However the day my wife went to have the rims repaired our salesman approached her and made some inappropriate comments that made her feel uncomfortable and guilty about the situation. He told her that they both “learned a lesson” about looking at the cars closer and reminder her that we signed paper work as part of our purchase that the car is as is including cosmetic damage. This was unacceptable. As a luxury car brand they should stand behind the quality of their cars and there should be no lesson for us to learn. We will not return to either Manasquan or Red Bank Volvo to purchase another vehicle or have any service done there. And my advice to anyone that reads this is inspect your car closely to make sure repairs are part of your deal and choose your sales person carefully.
