  Mavis in Mahwah NJ is most definitely the best! Been going for 1/2 years now with 0 complaints and they provide the best customer service possible !

  With the times that we are currently facing in this country with extreme racism, discrimination, and xenophobia I never thought that this would hit so close to home. My brother in-law came to this establishment for an oil change. He hasn’t been in the country for too long so he is still learning English with each passing day. He asked if they spoke Spanish (which they do as the man is Puerto Rican) and he said “No I don’t want to speak Spanish” which is understood. But, mind you he has spoken to my sister in Spanish in the past and it was the condescending tone and manner he had stated his stance. As someone who is from the east coast you learn to pick up on queues of passive aggressiveness, covert racism/xenophobia, and discrimination. This man even though he is a Latino/Hispanic himself was rude and disrespectful. It was as if he was belittling and even ashamed of his own roots. Sad to see self hating Latinos within our own community who’ll bend backwards for simple acceptance of white supremacist/racists. Trump has sadly allowed for these racists and self haters, who used to hide their shameful and hateful behavior, come out of the dark. This business has been in my hometown for years and it was a place where my family and friends used to support. Sadly after this treatment, we will stop supporting. Hopefully this allows them to think, acknowledge, and rectify their hateful behavior. I’ll also take the time to remind them that this country does not have an official language. And if we were to speak an official language, it would be a Native American/indigenous tongue and absolutely not English. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but unfortunately, it does not allow me to do so, 1-star will suffice for now.

  A week after replacing my tires I got a flat then another week later my sensor went had no issues before that with my sensor

  I scheduled an appointment to have a new set of tires I purchased online mounted and balanced onto a set of wheels I already had. The team at Mahwah was timely, friendly, and professional. Their pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I finally received my missing lug nuts today and called to see if they could fit me in for a same-day appointment to get the tires put on + wheel alignment — and sure enough, they made it happen. Really appreciate the great service and flexibility from the team here in Mahwah.

  I’m disappointed with the customer service. I replaced three tires and was told to do a wheel alignment. So I did it. A month later, during my regular car maintenance, the dealership informed me that both sides of the car still needed a wheel alignment. I was very surprised and told them no I have already did that one month ago. I took my car to Marvis, but the customer service there was unhelpful. They suggested that I might have hit something or that the dealership was mistaken. Again both sides of the car was misaligned… Eventually, they agreed to check it, but I had to wait a long time without knowing when it would be my turn. They were not willing to give me that info. So I understood that I have to leave. Now, I will need to pay for the alignment again when I return to the dealership. Good customer service means taking care of customers when problems arise.
