- RCReema Can-WoodeDec 18, 20251.0DO NOT GO TO THIS MAVIS DISCOUNT TIRES location. If I could give this Mavis Discount Tires in Magnolia, NJ (on the White Horse Pike) a zero, I surely would. The assistant manager John is TOTALLY incompetent. Don’t deal with him. He doesn’t listen and does not input your request in their computer system. The service department is not on top things either. On 12/14/25 I went to this location to order 2 continental tires ($302 a piece). I met with John, the assistant manager who took my order and my initial deposit of &25 to order my 2 tires. I informed John that my back tires were worn and requested that they put the 2 new tires I was purchasing in the front of my car and put the existing front tires in decent shape in the back as I purchased them last year. I asked that John input this information in their computer and he assured me that was done. I scheduled my appointment for the 12/16/25 with John. When I arrived on 12/16 at 2pm, I was informed by John that there was a 3 to 4 hour wait so I rescheduled my appointments to the 17th. Before leaving the store, I requested again that John input my order in their computer so if he wasn’t at the shop, the mechanics would know. He assured me AGAIN that he personally had entered my request into the system. I arrived on the 17th at 11am and again reiterated my request to John and he stated that they have it. After a two hour wait, John tells me my car is ready and asked that I pay my $687 bill. As if they rotated my tires, John tells me that the new tires were mounted on the back and the two worn tires I needed replaced were mounted in the front. My decent tires in the front had been removed and set aside in the service shop. I walked into the service shop, took pictures of my decent tires sitting on the floor and worn tires still on my car. I could not for the life of me believe it. Why on earth would any mechanic leave my work tires on the car and remove my decent tires???? I was very upset and insisted that the put the brand new tires I had paid for in the front and decent tires (which were originally in the front) in the back. I had to wait another 30 minutes for this to get done. VERY VERU DISAPPOINTING AND LOUSY SERVICE. This is just plain common sense. I wonder how many female customers they are scamming. John was not even apologetic for their mistake. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION and if you are brave enough to take your car there, stay vigilant because they will screw you over if you are not paying attention.
