When scheduling the appointment, several tire options were shown online, and I confirmed availability for the specific tire I wanted. I did my research ahead of time and knew that many shops hesitate to work on Tesla tires because they are unfamiliar, but I also learned that electric cars can use regular tires. I originally had Michelin acoustic tires, but I wanted to switch to something more affordable, like Kumho, which many newer Teslas use. When I arrived, everything changed. They refused to sell me any brand other than the original equipment tire and insisted I stick with the OEM option, even though their own website listed other choices. They also tried to charge more than what was posted online. I asked them to match their website price and other tire stores, and they kept saying they would, but they never actually did it. Instead, they gave me misleading information and took advantage of the fact that my car had already been towed there, leaving me with no real choice. This experience felt dishonest and frustrating. If you own a Tesla, I recommend taking your business elsewhere Update: I received a phone call from the store manager who wanted to understand exactly what happened. I explained my experience, and he offered a sincere apology. I appreciated the call, and I accepted his apology. I will bump my rating from 1 star to 2 stars.
