If I could leave a zero star review I would, absolutely horrible experience overall. A friend and I purchased a 2015 Coleman several months back, and the amount of issues that have taken place since then is absolutely ridiculous. It's too long of a list to go through, but I will point out some of the significant things that have gone wrong and are continuing to still go wrong, all of which camping world is dismissing because it's an "as is" camper, and is partially blaming the customer because it was our job to know the ins and outs of the camper, but the issues that are being experienced were blatantly not disclosed to us, not even as a common courtesy heads up. With that being said, a few of the current significant issues are as followed: the heating system Does Not work, even after a friend and I paid out of pocket to fix only for it to continue to not work, during the winter months nonetheless; the furnace not working is most likely due to a roof leak that had seeped down into the furnace electrical components as per an experts knowledge, outside of camping world. Next up, is the roof itself. Upon having a technician get on the roof to see the damage from the leak, it was noted that the issue was haphazardly "fixed" by a piece of plywood that was just sealed over the issue, most likely that camping world very much knew about, especially since the camper had been sitting on their lot for sometime before the purchase. With the tech having removed the plywood to further assess the damage, the membrane itself is exposed, and the tech could have put his hand through it, thats the degree in which the soft spot is at due to the negligence as far as safety is concerned.
Multiple times my friend and I have reached out to camping worlds eastern corporate office, also a ridiculous headache in itself, because they also seem to not care and be dismissive and are more or less doing whatever in their power to pretty much put the blame on the consumer and not wanting to handle things properly and professionally, which the amount of unprofessionalism is beyond mind boggling.
It's getting to the point of now going through lawyers, which they also dont seem to care about, as it was mentioned during a phone call with corporate And the fact that camping world had a previous law suit against them, and they still could seem to care less, says alot about the company as well.
At the end of the day,never in a million years would I recommend camping world to anyone, they are such a despicable company
