    I do not recommend this Penske truck pickup location. First of all, Home Depot has absolutely nothing to do with Penske except pulling up confirmation codes and releasing the vehicles/equipment. When on the phone with the Penske representative this morning, her system was down so she had to make the reservation twice. She tried to charge $299 for the car carrier ALONE which was more than the cost of the rental 16’ box truck for a day ($197 estimated). When I asked why the price was so high and mentioned that the car carrier is usually between $30-60, she *magically* lowered the price to $59.99 but “couldn’t take my payment over the phone”. However, when Home Depot pulled up the new reservation presumably with the lowered price, the old price of $299 was still showing up. We ended up just cancelling our reservation altogether because nobody at Home Depot could fix it and we didn’t have time to be on the phone with Penske for another 30 minutes trying to fix the problem. Thanks anyway Penske. We will be using U-Haul from now on.

    They give a complete different price at the location than they quote over the phone. I was quoted 1300 and when I got to the location they said that the truck would be 2300. The location is also ridiculously complicated to get into, if not careful you will end up taking the highway to the holland tunnel to NY.
