- GGG.Feb 20, 20265.0On my way to work and what happened, my front driver tire popped on the Route 1 & 9. Waited for 2 hours for my tow service to come and collect my vehicle. So now I have to call another towing service to take me to a repair shop. Finally at 12:00pm, I was dropped off at Mavis Tire on Rt440. Now as I walked into the building my emotions are high and I'm very upset and angry. As I entered, I was greeted with a warm smile and a sympathetic voice. This simple act of kindness put me into a easier frame of mind. I was more receptive to the gentleman at the front counter. The process was easy and professional. I was serviced with a new tire and a friendly ear. He listened to all of my ordeal from the start and to the finish on my day. He really saved my day today and I just want to thank the team at Mavis Tire in Jersey City for all their help. Thank you for your service.

When I spoke with Anthony, he stated Tesla vehicles do not require tire rotation, despite the vehicle’s service alert indicating it was due. That advice is concerning and contradicts the manufacturer’s maintenance guidance. The shop was not busy, yet we were told the service would take about 1.5 hours and that if she left, two other customers would be taken before honoring her appointment. Between the incorrect service information and the appointment not being respected, the experience felt unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend this location.
