The Hillsborough New Jersey branch has become a complete joke. Ever since the new manager took over, he seems to care less about your reservation and more about getting home for the day. This branch SUCKS. I suggest you look for another location before booking a reservation. This branch should Be shut down since they can’t perform their tasks properly.

I had a great experience overall from beginning till the car drop off. Car offered was almost new and in a great condition. Their staff was very helpful and kept me posted on every steps. I would highly recommend them.

My husband & I booked a reservation for a Full Sized SUV in April 2025 to be picked up in July. We always booked car rentals in advance, around the springtime, to make sure we have a place/car reserved for the busy summer. The rental was for an annual vacation we take with our in-laws every year & we normally use another rental company but decided to go with Enterprise this year. We booked online through their app, which was confirmed with an email confirmation & we should’ve been set for July. Going with Enterprise turned out to be a huge mistake & we will never return again. When the day came to pick up the vehicle, the attendant first told us we had no reservation. I had to show him the reservation on THEIR APP & that’s when he finally “found” our reservation, using the confirmation #. After finding our reservation, he then tells us they did NOT have any vehicles in the size that we wanted to rent to us. He called several other stores in the area & they apparently did not have any available SUV’s either. We ended up having to leave with no rental, we did not rebook or even tried to book anywhere else because booking a rental the same day was nearly impossible or/and expensive. When I looked on the website again to search for a rental at a different location, the same vehicle type/size we booked in April, was almost triple the price to book the same day - which was even odd to me that they even showed an “available” booking for the same vehicle type/size we just tried to get but was JUST told that they didn’t have that vehicle type/size… make that make sense???? To avoid ruining the whole vacation & not miss our check-in time, we ended up having to drive a 2nd vehicle which was not planned. The whole point was to NOT have to to do this & have everyone ride in the same vehicle with the rental Enterprise fail to provide to us. When we got back from vacation we reached out to customer service who told us management will contact us… we waited & no contact from upper management or anyone from Enterprise. We gave it some time to hear from them but now it’s 2 months later, going into October & nothing. So now here is our review. This situation is absolutely unacceptable, inexcusable, ridiculous, completely low grade & unprofessional. We use rentals multiple times a year & this is the first time we have EVER experienced this. We expected better from Enterprise but we never return or use Enterprise again - this isn’t even from us not being able to get a rental when we were suppose to (after making a well advanced reservation) but from the severe lack of customer service & care after their obvious mistake. There was 0 accountability.
