I brought my Toyota Tundra to Hazlet Mavis for an oil change and tire rotation on 1/2/26. I knew my tires were near the end of road so when the asst manager suggested I get new tires, I agreed. I told him several times the size of the tires on my vehicle were not stock and the size I needed. After spending half of my day waiting for my truck, when I paid I noticed the tires on the receipt were the wrong size, not what I asked for, not even stock. I brought this to the managers attention and was met with blank stares, accusations, and the assurance that the tires were “pretty much the same size”’ I left and I figured I’d sleep on it but after spending almost 1400.00 and not receiving what I asked for (and noticing one of the lug nuts was completely mangled) I called the following day and made an appointment for this morning 1/10/26 to get the tires in the size I asked for. Of course the tires weren’t available in that size and cost approx 800.00 more. I called the night before to confirm my appointment for 8am as I had to be at work by noon. I arrived bright and early and was told it would be a few minutes as there was still a truck on the lift from the night before, I waited and waited and finally my truck got on the lift at 10:30. I was finished up around noon and had to race to work. I was offered a complementary oil change for my time, but told them I wouldn’t be returning so they took 80 bucks off of my now 2200 bill. I always patronize independently owned businesses but was in a pinch. This will be my last time and I will tell all my customers and friends to never set foot in Hazlet Mavis.
