As a matter of fact, anyone behind the counter who has helped me at this location has just been great. They’re quick to lend you a tool if you need to replace a part in the parking lot. I myself have had to replace headlights multiple times which were under warranty due to poor Headlight housing And I’ve never had an issue and I’ve never gotten the vibe that they felt some type of way that I was replacing the headlight for perhaps a third or fourth time The headlights are under warranty and they replaced their headlights with no problems. I highly recommend this location.

Wasn't sure if I had the right powersteering fluid and if they were gona have a battery but, a very professional man named Jose had helped me out big time! Confirmed my items, and got me the biggest battery. Thanks, and not only helped me install it, he taught me about the features and use of the safety straps a non related mechanic left Uninstalled. The visit to the store was a major success made super easy.! Jose is extraordinary, thank you for your help!

- BGBrandon GaleFeb 21, 20265.0Jose saved the day! Got stuck in a snowstorm with a dead battery, had it replaced at a different shop. Afterwards the windows, USB, AWD and OBD2 scanner wouldn’t work. The shop that replaced the battery said they couldn’t help. Brought the car here to AAP in Union Beach and Jose checked literally everything. Spent close to an hour troubleshooting. Finally, he found a blown mini-fuse in the internal fuse box. Replaced it free of charge with a smile - just as excited as we were. Everything worked immediately. 10/10 Highly Recommend.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
