Great customer service. Specially from David. He was very professional and attentive.. I had a flat tire and they took me in right away. Tire couldn’t be fixed but they installed the spare tire and didn’t even charge me. I will be a returning customer.

I went after a confirmation that I could come at 1130 for my tire change. When I reached they said , it’ll be 40-60 mins. I waited but it took them 2.5 hours! I could literally see them sitting idle while my car was at the station. I went to the front desk asking what’s happening. As soon as the person went inside and inquired, they started working. After all this , they charged me more than what was quoted at the beginning. They’ve also charged me for tire recycling and the funny part is that I got the tires back with me .. what are the recycling ??? Air ?

The only reason I’m writing this review is so that people know ahead of time what to expect. I literally needed a new tire because mine was ripped open a little bit near the rim. My assumption is that the tire wasn’t at the store and it had to be delivered or something because I could not for the life of me make the online reservation on the same day. Despite my predicament, psi on the tire was alright according to my car lol, like it didn’t notify me about low psi so I wasn’t too pressed about a same-day appointment. Anyways, I was able to make a reservation online for the next day at 6pm, mainly to reserve the tire. On the day of my reservation, I got to Mavis around 4:30pm and there was already a line with other customers ahead of me, which I already expected anyway because it’s the afternoon. I will preface though that making a reservation does not mean you will be attended first or anything. Mavis still operates on a first come first serve basis. So no matter what time your reservation, you will still have to wait until anyone that came before you is attended to first. That literally does not bother me, but I feel like people reserve a time and then they get mad for not being attended right away so this is just an fyi. The staff is super friendly. I had called ahead of time to make sure the tire they received was manufactured within the year and IT WAS which was great. They were able to price match my tire as well. Got there around 4:30pm and was able to leave at like around 6:15pm which I thought was good timing based on the amount of people that were there before me. I will say though that I’m not sure if they inspect the tire valve stem when they install a new tire? Reason being is that I literally drove the car home (which is a 15 minute drive) and I didn’t touch it at all the next day, but the day after the next day when I go to drive the car, I noticed that ONLY the newly installed tire was basically flat. I filled the tire with air and as I was driving to work the air in the tire was not holding. I would’ve gone back to the same mavis but literally I was struggling with my tire on my way to work and I had to get to my job which is in the opposite direction of this mavis. So I stopped by a different mavis that was close to my job and it turns out it was a leaking valve stem. Maybe my valve stem was already damaged before I went to the shop? I have no idea cause again, I didn’t notice an air issue before. But there is literally no way it got damaged in my 15 minute drive from mavis to my house though. But atleast the brand new tire itself was not the issue. I thought it was just customary to check the valve stem whenever you install a brand new tire but maybe it’s not as common practice as I thought so maybe that’s on me. But, umm yeah I guess if you are going in for a tire installation just make sure you directly tell them to check the valve stem as well since I honestly don’t think they did with mine. I want to give them 4 stars because of the valve stem inconvenience I went through. However, I mean I guess I should’ve remembered to tell them to check? So I can’t put all the blame on them. I will give them five stars though cause they are super friendly(one of the reasons why I came back to this mavis specifically) and will help you out as best and quickly as they can and price match and stuff. But yeah you just have to be very specific of what you want done and checked. So if you’re gonna install a new tire just tell them double check whether the valve stem is good to go as well.
