- ZZZalmanDec 10, 20251.0I'm not an auto mechanic, so when my battery died I went online to find the best I could. I remembered the DieHard name from the old Sears brand, which was solid and dependable, if nothing else. Bought the best grade they sell from Advance Auto Parts, their "Platinum" grade (made in Germany!). It went bad shortly thereafter, wouldn't hold the charge. Took it back to the store, which immediately changed it. Was impressed. Two years later, within the presumed four year warranty period (OF THE FIRST BATTERY), battery died AGAIN. Called them up to get a new one and was told to go away and DieHard. They don't care what the guarantee is, I've already changed it once. If the exchange battery is no good, I'm S.O.L. and can take the warranty and shove it. DieHard seems to be the primary battery brand sold at Advance Auto Parts. I would buy DieHard again if I wanted to burn money and play with car batteries all day long. It was a joy.

I purchased parts was given the wrong parts by the manager.I was unable to have my mechanic complete the work on my vehicle. When I return to the store a worker who I assume was about to get off her shift proceeded to help me only to make comments that she doe get paid enough for this. Then gentlemen who helped me in the end had a better demeanor but I felt like I was bothering them ,when I am the customer who was given the wrong parts. I do not recommend this store. My first experience with Abraham was excellent, Other than that no thank-you. The associates need better customer service training.Will not be returning.
