Got my car at this dealer...had two issues within the same week. They did not provide an adapter for my electric car. When I called them to let them know they immediately blamed me for not checking before leaving. I explained that I didn't know I was supposed to get an adapter since it was my first electric car. Salesperson also did not do a walk through with me when I get the car to check. They handed me off to someone to just program my key and leave.
Had an issue with one of my keys not working to get in the car. I called them, they blamed me again. They said that both keys were working when I left and it was something I did. They did not check it both keys worked when I left, as I mentioned earlier, they programed one of my keys and sent me off.
I got a decent deal at this dealer, but customer service after was horrible. I've never dealt with a dealer that was so blunt about immediately blaming the customer.
I went to my local dealer in NY and they helped me with my key issue under warranty. It took me over 10 phone calls and speaking to a general manager and Volvo corporate to get a $100 adapter that they failed to provide.

experience at Prestige Volvo in East Hanover. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made the process smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable.
Luis was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. He took the time to answer every question without any pressure, making sure I felt completely comfortable and confident in my decision.
Jake was fantastic to work with as well; professional, straightforward, and extremely helpful throughout the process. Everything was handled efficiently and clearly.
Romell went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out.
This was easily one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re considering a Volvo, I highly recommend Prestige Volvo in East Hanover. The level of service, professionalism, and care from Luis, Jake, and Romell was exceptional.
I left my car at The Prestige Volvo to have the wiring repaired after damage caused by rodents. Not only did it take 40 days — forty days — but when I picked it up, the most visible damaged wire still wasn’t properly repaired.
The wire to the coolant level sensor was neither replaced nor connected. Instead, the chewed end was covered with electrical tape. It seems the car's computer was adjusted so it wouldn’t activate the engine warning light or show the low coolant message on the dashboard.
This is a safety concern. Releasing a vehicle in that condition is unacceptable — especially without letting me or the insurance company that paid for the repair know.
Communication was also a major issue. Many of my phone calls went unanswered. I had to follow up constantly. After I brought this up, I was told a wiring harness would be ordered and replaced. Once again, no one contacted me. I had to call a week later. When I arrived, there was no harness. Instead, they replaced the connector and spliced the wires.
The workmanship is very poor. The connector is installed so tightly that disconnecting it in the future would be impossible if needed. It looks rushed and careless.
Waiting 40 days for incomplete repairs and dealing with poor communication calls into question the integrity of this business.
I expected professional service. This experience was very disappointing.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Ryan at Prestige Volvo! From our very first interaction, he was incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in helping us find the perfect vehicle.
Ryan made what can often be a stressful process completely seamless. He was extremely communicative, always quick to respond to our questions (even after hours and on weekends!) and kept us updated every step of the way. He was incredibly flexible and accommodating, working with us on pricing, financing options, and delivery arrangements without any pressure or typical dealership games.
What really stood out was how knowledgeable and honest Ryan was throughout the entire process. He provided detailed information about the vehicle history, features, and warranty coverage so we felt completely confident in our purchase. He followed through on every single commitment and made the entire transaction smooth and transparent.
Ryan went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly what we wanted at a fair price. He answered all our questions thoroughly, was patient with our decision-making process, and genuinely seemed to care about finding us the right car, not just making a sale.
Honestly, Ryan is the reason we chose a Volvo. We were comparing multiple dealerships and vehicles, and his professionalism, transparency, and willingness to work with us made all the difference. If you’re looking for a hassle-free car-buying experience with someone you can actually trust, ask for Ryan Entwistle. You won’t regret it.
We’re absolutely thrilled with our 2025 Volvo XC40 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Ryan!

Incompetent and unprofessional Service Department.
After a small fender bender I took my Volvo SUV to the closest insurance recommended shop. The day after picking it up I realized the headlights were not working so I was forced to bring it to the closest Volvo dealership as it was unsafe to drive. I thought this would be a few days or a week at most. Prestige Volvo took 9 weeks to obtain a Volvo headlight. During this ridiculous waiting I would call and I was repeatedly told by my contact "Just pick it up if you don't like the wait" I found this rude and unreasonable as driving the car with no headlights was an option. Finally when the headlight arrived during the install their technician somehow fried other components of the car to point where my insurance company TOTALED the vehicle. In shock but just wanting to move on and get a new car I let my contact at Prestige know when I was coming, and to please take the plates off and get my possessions together. He got the plates and a few things but refused to gather a few tools from the back and said I would have to do it myself. When I arrived the car was parked with over a foot of snow on both sides and the back and the trunk would not open. They then told me to just crawl though the back seats and dig out my possessions myself. So I had to crawl over the snow and twist myself in a pretzel through the back seats to retrieve a few things from under the cover in the trunk. This is how they chose to treat customers after killing my car and making me wait over 2 months. This was absolutely the most unprofessional and trashy interaction I have ever had with any company of any kind. Avoid this service dept at all costs!
