  Got my tires delivered there through tire track. This was supposed to be an install appointment for four of my tires. Dropped the car off at 9 AM Friday. Three hours passed and I hadn’t heard a peep. I called them and suddenly they were telling me that all of the Lugnuts on all four of my tires were swollen. How could this be? Why did I have to call in order to find this out three hours later? They’re saying they have to cut the lugnuts off. And Seth — the manager— gives me a price estimate of almost $900 for all 4 and $400 for just 1 (that makes no sense, the math isn’t adding up). I eventually just decided to take my car somewhere else, and the guy tells me that wherever I go, they’re gonna have the same issue and I’m going to have to “pay the piper”. Strangely enough… went somewhere else and they got all of my lug nuts off with no issue and replaced all four of my tires. So it seems to me that these guys are either not the professionals they claim and have a skill issue here or they’re running some predatory price gouging scheme because they saw a girl walk in and though she could pay their rent or something.

  Dishonest joint that takes advantage of senior citizens. My elderly mother brought her car in because she had a low tire pressure. They said that everything was fine and that only the tpms sensor needed to be changed. In the process of changing it, they apparently broke all tpms sensors on all 4 tires and charged her $400 to replace everything. Beware.

  Don't get service from this place! I was at an event for photography business and my car broke down. I live in Philly so it had to be towed to a spot in NJ since I was pretty far. We dropped it off at Monroe. Thousands of dollars spent between towing, parts and labor, etc. A few days later we made the journey back up to the East Brunswick, NJ store, and when they gave me my keys the engine did not turn on. Mind you, they were "fixing" the alternator. After they brought my car back in and I waited for another hour or so in their super gross and not well managed waiting area. Their bathroom - don't even consider going in there. Fast forward only SIX MONTHS LATER... my car breaks down again. This time I'm closer but we still need to get it towed. We get it towed to my house because SURELY IT COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE THE ALTERNATOR THAT WAS CHANGED ONLY SIX MONTHS AGO. It won't turn on AGAIN. We tow it to another close auto shop - it's the ALTERNATOR. Great, so we just paid for two alternators in one year. Since we were sure Monroe had a faulty part, we asked to be refunded solely for the part, we understand the labor could not be refunded. And also, we understand it would probably need to be a refund from the part manufacturer - we just wanted to be pointed in the right direction since we wouldn't know who to call. They didn't help us get connected with the manufacturer AT ALL. They said it was 'up to us to figure it out'. PFFFFFFF excuse me? Please do not get serviced by Monroe - honestly any place cause they have a lot of fine print stuff they don't openly acknowledge (especially since we didn't know about Monroe being out of the area - we also didn't know that Monroe auto shops were even in PA). WORST SERVICE EVER - YOU WILL GET FAULTY PARTS, TERRIBLE LABOR, AND THE MOST UNCLEANLY BATHROOM YOU CAN LAY YOUR EYES ON. Really disappointed and will recommend against every time.
