The SafeLite technician came to my location saving me a bunch of time. In addition - after the new windshield is glued in, you have to wait at least an hour. The post installation wait is no problem when you are at your place of work or home!

Very professional experience. Office staff was friendly and helpful. I inspected windshield upon my arrival to pick up. Excellent installation by Sean with everything in place. Easy pass and inspection sticker expertly reinstalled. I would definitely recommend Safelite.

Safelite East Brunswick wasted my time due to their own internal failure — and this is concerning for insurance partners who rely on them.
I booked and received a confirmed appointment for a Mercedes rear window replacement with privacy glass. I waited over a week based on that confirmation. I arrived on time, left my vehicle, and after more than an hour, I was called back and told the job could not be done because Safelite ordered the wrong glass.
This was not disclosed before the appointment.
From an insurance standpoint, this raises serious concerns:
Confirmed appointments without verified correct parts
Incorrect glass ordered for a VIN-specific job
Customer time wasted due to Safelite error
No meaningful resolution or priority correction offered
If Safelite cannot properly manage parts verification and appointment readiness, insurance companies should question how many claims are being delayed, rebooked, or mishandled at this location.
This review is posted to alert Safelite corporate and insurance partners that this location’s operational standards are unacceptable.

Pros: Appointment was fast. I was scheduled at 7:00am and I was attended on time. The replacement took only less than 3 hours that is why I decided to just drop of my car. The staff were helpful.
Coms: after the windshield was replaced and the car was released to me, I inspected the job and I noticed the the rubber part that seals the windshield was not properly aligned and sinking just below the drivers wiper. I called the attention of one of the staff to get it inspected because of my worry the rain might leak from outside my dash board. He said it wouldn’t but still its too obvious from just simple eye check that the rubber was dipping so I tried to get a second opinion I went back to the front desk and requested the staff to have it inspected by the managerShe went to get somebody who came to see the part I was complaining, again the second guy said I wouldn’t leak and if there’s a problem just return it. But I told him the way the rubber is sinked looks like it was not properly sealed and regardless if it won’t leak the outside looks bad. As I returned home I just found out that the sensor on the ceiling was hanging off. So I called immediately the center they are claiming they do not touch the sensor when they replace the windshield but I told them it was not hanging like that before the repair. Now the lady said their staff are tall maybe they it with their hair while fixing it and the only way they can fix it is if I come back to their facility. I said I can’t go back because I have important things to do, I actually have an appointment with my doctor after the windshield is replaced. I even ask her if they can send their mobile team to fix it at my place. She said they cannot. But just bring it back. I have no time to go back. I am very disappointed to the service and the trouble. It’s their job to inspect that everything is good before they release the job to their customer.

The technicians do not care about what happens to your car after they’ve completed the service. I bring my car in for a cracked windshield just to pick it up and there’s a dent in the passenger side door. I know my vehicle was damaged on that lot or in the shop and of course, no one is going to take responsibility. And anyone else that knows what happened is not going to say anything. And the mental gymnastics of, “well maybe this happened” is ridiculous. Calling is a waste of time because it hangs up on you before giving you the opportunity to speak to a real person. The only person that was kind and deserves praise is the young lady in the office that helped me when I arrived. I was given a photo showing that my car door did not have a dent when I brought it in. Okay, so why is there a dent when I pick it up? This was my first experience here, and will be my last. Hooray!
