- NMNansi Martin1 day ago5.0I came in today with my 1.5 year old battery because my it kept dying. When I came in Victor immediately came up to me and helped me since the battery was pretty heavy. After listening to what I described and doing a diagnostic he gave me some helpful info. He was very patient while I explained everything and he in return explained to me in a way I could understand the issue of what was going on. Everything went smooth and I was really impressed with Victor, who I believe is in training. The gentleman who was there guiding Victor was helpful and helped guide him through the process. I will gladly visit this store again over the one that is more convenient near my work.

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
