- BBBlush and BloomSep 9, 20251.0Pilot/Flying J security didn’t let my truck driver father inside the store and the store locked the doors without even listening to him because they were told by security to not let him in. IMAGINE BEING ON THE ROAD FOR HOURS AND NOT EVEN BEING ALLOWED TO USE THE RESTROOM. We were on call with my dad the entire time. He stayed calm, even tried to LAUGH OFF THE TENSION between them, and said clearly, “I just want to use the restroom and buy cigarettes.” But BOTH THE SECURITY AND STORE STAFF WERE YELLING AT HIM and refusing to let him in. This was NOT a misunderstanding. THEY SIMPLY DID NOT LET HIM IN OUT OF EGO. My dad even MOVED HIS TRUCK from the lane like security asked, yet they still refused to let him in. After over 6 YEARS of stopping here, suddenly he is “not welcome”? They even THREATENED TO CALL the police if he didn’t leave - when all he wanted was basic access to the restroom and a few things for the road. I also called the store myself to help resolve the situation, but security was disrespectful to me on the phone, refused to listen, and even HUNG UP on me after saying, “tell him to leave or I will call the police.” THIS IS HAPPENING FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR. Truck drivers keep these businesses alive, and treating them this way shows ZERO respect.
