- MKMatthew KelsoOct 22, 20251.0Dropped the car off for a tire rotation Saturday. Went to pick it up and the steering wheel was shaking and the alignment was pulling significantly to the right. Immediately took the car back and they “test” drove it. They claimed they didn’t experience any of the issues. I asked how fast the individual went that I observed driving the car and he said he started off going about 20 mph but was able to get it up to 40 mph and didn’t observe any issues. I ask what could be done and they don’t really offer a solution. I suggested the tires may need balancing because the shaking could be a symptom of unbalanced tires, (even though I had been driving on these tires with them balanced and no issues). They charge me to balance the tires and I go to pick up the car the next day. When I arrive, I ask if the issue is fixed. And the same guy who drove the car the previous day tells me that he nor anyone else there can “test” drive the car, only a Mechanic can. So they had no idea if the issues persisted. I left with the car and the issues were substantially better. I drive the car 25 minutes home and continue to notice the shaking steering wheel and a pull to the right, though reduced from the previous day. Having driven the car for the first time since the incident today, the issues are still there and will result in me having to take it to a different shop to have the issues diagnosed and fixed since they weren’t willing to. And to add further frustration, I noticed the cap to the tire pressure valve is missing. If they can’t even make sure the tires are properly capped, what else are they not doing to parts that matter more?
