We needed a cooler tube for a river tubing trip coming up and it turned out to be way cheaper from here than anywhere else. We walked around and the selection was incredible. Crazy amount of options for hunting, fishing, boating, backpacking, ect. I would definitely come here if I was planning a big hike or camping trip. They had a lot of really nice clothes on clearance, and their selection of sunglasses was exactly what I needed! They also have a really cool giant fishtank with a sign to identify all the fish inside. We went in for one thing and left with some new dog toys and new clothes!

Not a glance, not a word. Then, within seconds, a white man approached the same counter. Suddenly, the same employee springs to action: immediate eye contact, a greeting, and eager assistance. This wasn’t just rudeness. It was a glaring, unmistakable act of racial discrimination. The contrast was so deliberate, so visceral, it left no room for doubt: my husband was invisible because of his brown race. Racism doesn’t always scream. Sometimes it’s the silence that deafens.
