It took her about 2 minutes to fix my mess and help me snap them on. I definitely appreciated that. she was willing even though it looked like she was alone in the store.

They could not find it. Drove 20 minutes each way to pick up. When arrived, one of the clerk's was chatting it up with someone. Maybe she should have been finding my order instead. Would clearly think that an associate, at an absolute bare minimum, would verify that the product is physically in the store prior to confirming to the customer that it is ready for pickup. Was offered by the store to come in and pick it up tomorrow. Are you kidding me. Was not offered anything for my trouble! Cancelled my order before leaving the store. Ordered from Autozone in the next hour where I will be buying from for my future auto needs. Use to enjoy going to Portsmouth Advanced Auto Parts store which is now closed and where i never had any issues. Never going back to the Seabrook store.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
