- TTTyler TranMar 1, 20265.0I called in and asked to borrow a deep socket & the dude who picked up was cool. Told me to come by and let me work on my car in the lot for a second, was just changing a bmw tail light but it was a bit tricky. He cracked a couple jokes, made sure I was cool, even ended up needing to actually buy something to put everything together so it all worked out. Thank you man! Appreciate the hospitality

- JJjared johnsonJan 25, 20261.0So in the middle of this snowstorm my starter went in my plow truck so I called over and over no answer which isnt abnormal for this store I went online and it says they are open so I drive in from deerfield to raymond assuming they are open cause it says so online needless to say I make it there to find a little note on the door that the store is closed due to snow well that doesnt do anybody any good to find on the door would be a lot more useful to put that online instead of it saying your open now I gotta battle my way back to deerfield with no starter and now no plow truck hopefully somebody will be here in the morning but ill probably just have to guess wether its open or not maybe get somthjng to tell you on the phone if you call and your gonna be closed but easy enough put it on your website it takes 2 seconds and people wouldnt be out taking the risk to come to a closed store by the way its 630 now I started calling this location at 330 im gonna venture a guess that the store was still open at 330 just nobody answering the phones I guess correct me if I'm wrong

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
