- ALAudra Lockhart4 days ago5.0After a few nights of my truck being a little grumpy starting, I went to Advanced Auto Parts this morning after work. I know that they had free battery testing, which is great. A very nice man, I didn't get his name. Stepped right in and checked my battery, while doing so. He noticed some corrosion around the terminals and instructed me on how to clean it when I got home. Battery turned out to be good. This nice guy, came back out from the store and cleaned the terminals for me and showed me how to do it. This fixed the slowing start of my truck, right back to its old 5.7 V8 roar. I am so thankful to this man. Being kind and compassionate to other people does bring good vibes. Thank you very much and I hope other people can appreciate this great environment while getting some help on your auto.

Then give attitude I got to fix my inventory listen lady I fixed it for you by bringing back the item that I should have never had because your employees are useless and can't read what they're giving you.

He was beyond helpful with his knowledge and his willingness to take the time and walk me through some stuff even though he was juggling multiple customers with the phone going non stop. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
