- SGSteven Guzzo1 day ago3.0Took my car to this Brakes Plus for a diagnosis because my car was making a noise when turning and was told it was a bad CV axle (front passenger side). Based on that, I ordered the part and lined up a mechanic to come out and replace it, only to find out the real problem was actually a bad strut. I appreciate that they didn’t charge me for the diagnosis, but this still cost me time, effort, and could of cost me unnecessary labor and parts. A misdiagnosis like that is frustrating and something customers rely on shops to get right. Just something to be aware of, might be worth getting a second opinion before moving forward with repairs.
