Hyundai's reputation is not good and I wanted to make sure any machining debris is removed. Anyhoo, I'm sitting in the car while a parade of mechanics keep going under my hood, removing the decorative engine cover and then putting it back. This happened 5 times before I got out to see what they were doing. He said they were 'looking for the air filter'. No engine has been built with an air filter over the intake manifold since about 1988 - so I don't believe that for one minute. The simple service took over 20 minutes once I pulled in the bay, and still cost $115 with a $15 coupon. I'll change my own oil from now on.
