I was verbally told that the documents I was asked to sign were only for an estimate to be sent to the insurance company. It was never clearly explained that these papers would be used as repair authorization. After sending the estimate to insurance, the shop ordered parts and started repair-related work without my informed consent. I had to contact my insurance company multiple times to stop the work and correct the situation. This felt deceptive and created unnecessary stress, delays, and confusion during what should have been a routine insurance claim. Customers should be extremely cautious here and do not sign anything unless every document is clearly explained line by line. Transparency and communication were seriously lacking in my experience.
