I love it because I can walk right over and buy everything I need, from oil, alternators, batteries, bolts, cleaning supplies, etc. Probably spend a few hundred up to a thousand plus a year. Well today, I moved my car into an almost empty parking lot to move something out of my garage. I was planning on moving it back shortly after. I went out maybe 6 hours later (still a fairly empty parking lot) and there was a tow truck towing my car. We have always had a good relationship with this AutoZone but today, not at all. I went in and asked the staff, and they were very rude. I have NEVER abused parking in the lot and rarely party there especially not during rush periods. This was Sunday afternoon and not busy at all. I had to pay HUNDREDS of dollars because they called to have my car towed. They had no empathy and BLAMED me. They lied to the tow truck company saying I was parked for FOUR days even though I was there for a few hours. A loyal customer of 20 years that has spent thousands of dollars and an advocate (especially since they have been veteran positive, being a war vet myself) It is very concerning the staff did this and makes me consider ever frequenting an AutoZone ever again, especially after having to pay so much to release my car after it being towed.
