They did a great job with the installation of my fiancées Draeger interlock system, but extorted extra money from him while doing so.
He called and confirmed that it would be $200 for the installation. I heard it myself because I was standing right next to him at the time.
He even told me after the conversation was complete and he had hung up.
Then we arrived there and all of a sudden it was $300. We looked at each other in confusion and he told the guy that he had just spoken with someone and had been told $200.
The person at the counter said “well now it’s $300” shrugged and said basically to deal with it.
Not: oh, well let’s clear up this misunderstanding, or oh let me go ask the person you talked to about it.
I wanted to file a complaint at the time but my fiancee said that no, he didn’t want to upset anyone and make things more difficult.
Happily, he found a better, more ethical business to use for the monthly calibration.
I’m leaving this review because, sadly, my fiancee died the day before thanksgiving. I’m hoping that someone else can avoid the experience that we have had with this business.
Edit: I waited so long to leave the review because, when it happened at the time, he didn't want to do anything about it. He was scared to fight back and stand up for himself because he thought that it might make the situation worse somehow.
Now that he's gone forever, there's no reason to hold back. What happened, happened. At the very least, the employee who mumbled "well that's what it is now" when we were both there should have said "Oh, ok, let me check on that for you". The fact that he didn't do that lends credence to the theory that something wasn't right.
