- DHderek hendricksonOct 17, 20201.0I prepaid for a rental online the budget store called me to confirm the reservation and asked if it was a credit or a debit card I told them it was a debit card and they told me what items to bring in so I showed up the day of the reservation with all the documents I needed and the guy behind the counter apparently doesn't know what a debit card is. As a frequent traveler I haven't had many problems renting but due to this I will never be using budget again that was just outrageous
- KTKip ThomasMay 17, 20175.0I have rented numerous times from budget in the last year (5) on 27th. I had nothing but praise for the staff and the quality of service I received, until now. I reserved a dodge challenger online but then I got my fastbreak card which came with a double upgrade. I called the budget on 27th and was told I COULD use the coupon on the challenger. They even went in and changed my reservation to the lower rate. I was called yesterday and was told that they would not honor that rate and they went in and changed the rate. I feel this is unfair, if an employee of my company would have given a quote/ rate we would have honored that rate, but let them know that this was a one time good deal to take care of the customer. I am still planning on picking up the car on my original date but am very unhappy that they will not stand by my original rate that their employee gave me. I guess a repeat customer is not important to budget.
