  I typically do my own work on my vehicles. I had a check engine light come on for my gmc 1500, I had it scanned, and it came back as a p050d code (cold start rough idle). After doing some research I found out that there are a multitude of problems that could cause the code and I didn’t have the time or energy to diagnose it myself. I took my truck to brakes plus on pioneers, and they were able to fit me in same day with no prior appointment. After looking into the truck, they found out that GM actually locks them out from diagnosing too far into it and that I would need to take it to an authorized Chevy dealer for them to fully diagnose it. Because of this, the shop didn’t charge me and was very generous about the time it took them to look into it. I will definitely be a returning customer after this. Thank you brakes plus

  This location & team for 7 plus years has taken incredible care of me as single female that’s at times needed thorough explanation, questions answered, ongoing follow ups at times of peace of mind. This team has continuously serviced me with the most honest, transparent, understanding & kind service. The hardest conversations have been so professionally & calmly navigated that I have always come away feeling listened, understood, supported, confident in their abilities & assured with my collaboration with them on decisions & plans. It has made it a no brainer to be consistent with first always calling this team up who has my history, know me by even name, respectfully do their best to troubleshoot with my best interest at heart. I’ve never felt taken advantage of nor over sold any product or service. Instead I’ve felt educated & supported just like my medical team. It’s so awesome seeing the leadership & team hired here so well trained in the technical & customer service to positively represent Brakes Plus brand with the outmost impressiveness.   I had a scheduled appointment for 1:00pm of which I dropped it off at 12:55 and left to grab lunch. Came back at 2:00pm and they had not even started the oil change. I was never informed that it was going to be any longer than normal when I dropped it off. When I asked about not informing me of it being potentially longer and he just shrugged. Just wasted an hour of driving and an hour of waiting for nothing. Will never take another vehicle back and will never recommend anyone to take the vehicle back to the south Lincoln location. Not even an apology for the delay or not getting to it.

  I've been using Brakes Plus for years, and every experience has been excellent. The past few times I have worked with Carson. He’s always friendly, honest, and polite, which makes a huge difference when it comes to auto repair. I really trust him and the whole team to give me the best advice without trying to upsell unnecessary services. They’ve worked on everything from routine maintenance to more complicated issues. I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of, and I always leave knowing exactly what was done and why. If you're looking for a mechanic you can rely on, I highly recommend Brakes Plus!
