If you care about your car or your bank account do not use this car wash! It did a great job and they treated me fine for a year with the exception of occasionally insisting I take a filthy rusty 100lb log chain out of the back of my pickup so it didn't blow out... 🙄 But the second you have a problem they will blame you for it and they won't even so much as refund your money for your subscription. I called the corporate number and they told me what likely happened. The belt system likely shot me forward two separate times bouncing over multiple rows of each time. I couldn't have been more than an inch from hitting the vehicle in front of me but it just kept reloading and shooting me forward. I was in neutral and had come to a complete stop, I tried hitting the brake again but it just made it worse. I rolled down my window and yelled I even tried to honk the horn multiple times. I finally had to open my door once I got past the sprayer post. I filled my vehicle with soap to get in the guy's face to wake him up. I don't know if he was stoned or just zoned out but someone finally ran out of the office and shut it off before damage was done. The manager called me later and told me it must have been my fault and she can't tell me what happened because "she's not inside my vehicle sir" That is a very immature and ridiculous answer to the situation. The manager of the entire place doesn't have basic knowledge of how their own car wash works. But apparently some lady in the call center does...? Lady in the call center explained to me how if you hit the belt at just the wrong time and hit the brake at the wrong time it can shoot you forward. Apparently it happens sometimes and it's just about timing of when you hit the belt and the timing of when you hit the brake. It also gets exacerbated by trying to get on the belt too fast which was caused by employees pushing everyone to be "1-1.5ft feet apart when they're busy" according to the employee. That alone is risky behavior!! Especially when you have employees daydreaming. If you make the people in vehicles uncomfortable bad things will happen. Thank you that's all I was looking for but since the local people didn't care to find out what happened and only cared about blame, I still don't want to do business with you ever again. I asked to speak to whoever is above the local manager and she said we're not allowed to give you your money back and you're not allowed to speak to anyone else so sorry that's the rules. That's another ridiculous response. It's a liability to do business with Tommy's Car Wash in the Kearney/Grand Island Nebraska area. I only wanted an explanation and an answer to how not to have it happen again, not child who's more concerned with who's to blame then the fact that their car wash almost destroyed my vehicle. If your vehicle is damaged by their equipment it's very clear that they've either been instructed to or are scared enough that they're going to blame you for it and you're going to end up in a lawsuit or paying for it out of your own pocket! They're either not honest or they're too scared to admit that anything happened. They do not care about customer service or your vehicle only covering their own asses. I asked for my prorated amount for the remainder of the month to be returned to me since I would no longer trust the car wash run by these people. I was told "it's not going to happen." I'm tired of being taken advantage of and treated this. If you're going to engage in risky behavior you better have more than a zoned out teenager in charge of the shut off button! And what happened to customer service. They act like they're doing me a favor by being there not that they wanted my business. This place needs some adult supervision!!!

The wash left scuffs all over my car that were a bear to get off. Hadn’t done that before when going thru. But unfortunately I can’t take a chance of that happening again so won’t be back.
