The bearded short guy working at this Kum & Go on December 24, 2024 needs to be FIRED!!! I went in, got the items I needed, and then had to wait with about 8 other people while someone was purchasing like 5 Kum & Go gift cards, of all things, at the one open register. Annoying but not the employees fault. After about 5 minutes beardo comes up and "I'll help who is next". That happened to be me. Set my two drinks down, he said something, I didn't hear him very well, but as I paid, he says "Not too talkative today?" which I responded "Yep". Here's the thing, been a rough day, I'm not upset with him, annoyed at the other guy buying gift cards, but I haven't been condescending or insulting, sometimes people SIMPLY DO NOT WANT TO TALK. And that is just fine, NOTHING wrong with that. As I'm walking away however, beardo says "GREAT TALKING TO YOU" in a loud and condescending voice, basically everyone looking at that point, as though something negative was going on. Nothing had happened negative, but from then on it did. I turned "What is your deal?" And he says "Get out of the store" with the same obnoxious attitude. Won't go into detail about the rest of the verbal exchange, but suffice to say YOUR employee ramped this up for no reason and needs to be terminated. Employee relations with customers are simple. Except in situations of extreme behavior by the customer, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. And in this situation, I didn't do anything to warrant his immature Napoleon complex nonsense. He ramped that up to the point that I wanted to ask him to step outside. And here's the kicker, someone WILL take him to task at some point, and he's going to have earned it. For that reason you need to get rid of him. That was ridiculous and no way to treat people on Christmas eve!!!

Advertise bowls and food but cashier refused to make anything ordered. Said, "we are closed because we have no food," but he was making burritos to put in heater. This was at 6pm suppertime.

Generally speaking, I appreciate having this resource available to me when I go out to the warehouses that I deliver for. They offer decent gas prices and usually a pretty good sale on things like energy drinks. My biggest gripe has to do with a specific cashier. I have never once rightness to him provide any level of friendly service, but I have witnessed to him being rude to many different people. Today was the last straw, because I had to interact with him personally and as was not so surprising to me oh, he was also rude to me. I asked him a simple question about a merchandising price because the tagging is done incorrectly. He made me walk to the cooler with him so to prove that I was telling the truth. He remarks at that point that the tag for the item was indeed put in the wrong spot. at that point he asked me if I still wanted to mix and match, which is what I had asked him about in the first place. I told them that I was asking about the tag to see if I could mix and match because if I couldn't, I would put one of the products back. His response was "well I don't want to honor it but I have to because the tag was put in the wrong spot." We walked back to the counter, she rang up my purchase and changed the prices accordingly, and then I paid and I left. This was mild in comparison to things that I've seen him do with other customers. I've seen him get into arguments, I've seen him bicker with his co-workers, I've heard him make fun of people... He's not alone in this realm though. My first visit to this particular location, while I was checking out, the cashier was making disparaging remarks about millennials and how stupid they are, without any consideration to the fact that I was standing right there and that happens to be the age group to which I belong. I like the convenience of this place and I I wish that I could like the service more. There's a QuikTrip opening across the way from them very soon, and frankly, it can't happen fast enough for me. Well it may be less personal at a QuikTrip, I feel that the products and the service level from one location to the next is consistent with QuikTrip. This has not been the case with Kum & Go. I gave you three stars because the convenience is of merit but you basically got an average out of what I think is an awesome price on energy drinks and other items and what I think is some really terrible customer service. I definitely question whether or not I even want to ask any of the employees for help, at least the employees that work behind the register. The ones in the kitchen seem to be okay.
