  I rented a car for several months, and it basically went smoothly, except for a major overcharge error that occurred in late September. The credit I am owed has still not been issued.

  Enterprise scheduled me at 11 to pick up a rental car. I showed up at 10:57 and they had a sign up saying that they’d be back at 11:15. I’m still waiting here at 11:40 and nobody has shown up. very rude to schedule someone a specific pick up time only to have nobody there.

  Reserved a rental car last week And was called 2 hours before I was supposed to pick up my car to tell me they had nothing Over voicemail I called back several times no answer. Just rang and no call back.... The trip before this, a reservation was made and I had to sit in the lobby for 2 hours with my children waiting for a car... If I return your car late, you charge me extra but if I don't get a car at all and have to cancel a complete trip. I just get screwed... I have only ever rented from enterprise but this changes that

  I have rented several cars from Enterprise over the last 12 years. I have always had a nice clean car. However, this recent rental was not the case. When I arrived at the store around 12:45 on a Thursday to pick up my car the sales person was trying to get 2 rentals done since the office now closes at 1pm. We did all the paperwork and then she took me outside to inspect the car for scratches and dents. So after doing that we went back inside to print out the paperwork and was told no smoking or vaping in the car. (not a problem) She handed me the keys and was good to go. Well, as I opened the door to get in the car I immediately smelled cigarette smoke. I informed the sales person and she apologized since she was "nose blind" - and did spray something into the vents. I am sensitive to smoke but I thought I could handle it and plus it did smell a bit better after she sprayed. I did have her put a note on my rental agreement about the cigarette smell so I wouldn't be charged with it. Nevertheless, as I get to my destination 6 hours later and pull out my formal dress to wear to a wedding, I noticed it smelled like smoke. I was so upset. Also, every time I got in the car and people rode with me they said oh why does your call smell like cigarette smoke. From now on I will definitely open the rental car and smell before I accept it. I dropped off the rental car on Sunday evening and did not receive any notification on my rental agreement that every thing checked out and what exactly was going to be charged on my credit card. So on Wednesday I called the location office and said I should have received an email and I told him I hadn't - so he sent it again. I looked back and never saw the original. He apologized for my bad experience but all he could do was offer me an upgrade next time I used Enterprise at that same location. He told me to remind him - and I said what if it is 3 months later - he said - Oh I won't probably be here then. uggh!!! Enterprise should have taken that car off the rental program and made whoever smoked in the car pay dearly for it. My final message: No non-smoker wants to drive a smoker vehicle.
