  Be careful shopping at AutoZone because apparently the same product can have completely different prices depending on which store you walk into. I bought a Duralast Gold 3.5 Ton Floor Jack in store for $290, then found the exact same item on AutoZone’s own website for $270. When I went back, I was told they would not match their own online price, and the explanation was that prices can vary by location. That means two AutoZone stores can charge different prices for the same item, and the website can show another price entirely. Most customers assume the price is consistent company-wide, but that clearly is not the case. My advice: do not blindly buy in store. Check the price online first and compare prices at nearby locations before paying, because you could easily spend more than necessary for the exact same product.
