- DLDaniel LinderDec 24, 20251.0A friend's Chevy Silverado wouldn't start on Christmas Eve. We were able to figure out that it needed a cam position sensor. I called Auto Zone in Grand Forks and they had the part available. It was 6:30 and they were supposed to close at 7:00. I told them I was 30 minutes away and coming to pick it up. When I was about 10 minutes away, I called and asked if they could wait a couple minutes for me. They said they couldn't. I walked up to the store at 7:01 and the doors were locked and there were 3 guys in the store still. They refused to let me buy the part. They were still in the parking lot when I left. This is my friend's only vehicle and he has a pregnant girlfriend at home. Terrible customer service. So much for the Christmas spirit.
