  Im somewhat new to the area and have been trying to find a reputable auto mechanic. I figured I would give tuffys a chance. Went in with a broken stud for the manifold which was causing exhaust to get into the cab via the vents. Tuffys did a free inspection and then gave me different quotes to fix the issue with either OEM or after market parts. They did extra work searching for the best parts to fix the problem and stay in my budget. When day came to fix my vehicle I dropped it off night before and then it was fixed the next day and they even picked me up from work in north moorhead and brought me back to tuffys where my vehicle was fixed and waiting for me. I give it a 5 out of 5 star experience. Was a great experience from what seems to be a shop that actually diagnoses the problem and fixes it vs just throwing parts at it in hope of getting it right. Thanks to all the staff for making it a great experience (as much as having to pay for repairs can be lol).

  Went in for an oil change and they found other issues. They brought me back to look at what they found that was wrong and gave examples so I under stood why there was a real and actual problem. They do their job as a honest mechanics. They wanted me to understand what was wrong with my truck so I understood the what the safety hazard could be if I ignored the issue. I’ll go to them from here on out if I have any questions and maintenance on our vehicles.

  My go to place. You know how so many shops sneak around and see if they can bully people into something they dont actually need? Not these guys! Every interaction with people I've heard them have is open, honest, and transparent (including with me) even if it isn't money in their pocket. They always make sure people have all their options on the table when there is something needed. They dont get upset or offended if someone chooses a different route than them AND even still try to help! I choose to do a lot of work myself if I can...the last place I was going argued with me over that actually. Thats when I coincedentally got a Tuffy's coupon and gave them a try - and the coupons keep coming too! Never choosing anyone else ever again. Car trouble/maintenance/questions/etc....the only answer is Tuffy's. The ONLY shop in Fargo that hasn't pissed me off or been rude or unfair.

  Tuffy Auto has become like a second family to my son and I. We live in Wisconsin but my son is in Fargo playing hockey. Hard as a parent when your teenager is 5.5 hours away and his car breaks down. You feel helpless. Tuffy’s auto has fantastic employees who got out of their way to help with your mechanical needs. So friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate them for the few visits that we have had to bring our car in for different issues. Sure puts this mom at ease knowing my son and myself get great care and service. Thank you to Toby and the rest of the guys!

  I was on my way to Fargo from out of town on a Saturday when my car started acting up. I called around to try to find a mechanic that could at least tell me if it was safe to drive back home. I got ahold of Tuffy's and they did a scan. Every step of the way, every single person I interacted with was so helpful and kind. It turned out I would have to leave my car there through Monday, and the service manager went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was somewhere safe and able to continue making plans on how I was going to get home. They made me feel very comfortable in a very stressful situation. I'm so grateful!
