The store manager at this location is very unprofessional and should be flagged for the way she speaks to her employees. While I was making a purchase, I overheard her say that she is the only one who is allowed to sit down because she is the “store manager.” This behavior is extremely unprofessional. I will no longer be shopping at this store.

Only giving 1 star because of the manager at the time (Friday 2/6/26 around noon), short blonde haired woman with thick black glasses. She was just behind a shelf at the register screaming at an employee and berating him like crazy and in front of MULTIPLE customers. Highly unprofessional and was clearly toxic. The workers at the front counters were visibly shocked and trying to keep a happy demeanor despite what was happening. Tried to video it but unfortunately there was music that the phone picked up more so. But everyone in the store just looked at each other with wide eyes that they couldn’t believe what was happening. She was already going at him when we walked in and didn’t stop until about 2 min before we left. We were there for 15 min or so. Poor kid left the area shaking and left to the back. She followed him but I don’t know if any more confrontation happened. She should be disciplined, retrained and possibly demoted. Even if the employee messed up somehow, they don’t deserve to be talked to that way (yelling LOOK AT ME multiple times, DONT LIE TO ME, I CANT HEAR YOU). Also, another employee took a phone call before helping us and I assume they wanted to talk to the manager so the employee said that there was a call and she yelled at him “YOULL HAVE TO WAIT A SEC” and he said it’s so-and-so and she screamed back “I KNOW IT IS”. I hope some of the other employees see this review and know that you guys were very professional and I hope you don’t have to deal with that everyday because that is the most toxic manager I’ve ever seen.

I asked the lady at the front to check my car's battery (Curly light brown hair, shoulder length, not the one with glasses). She already had some attitude when I asked for help. She checked my car's battery and told me one word, "Bad," and then immediately went back inside. I was confused because I thought she would say something. But she just started talking to her co-worker and never looked at me. It was already weird because people from AutoZone normally ask whether I need help with the issue or not (I believe this is the reason why they offer a free check for the battery). I waited for her to finish chatting with another employee (The lady with dark brown hair and glasses). Until another employee came inside the store and asked me what I needed help with, I was standing there confused. The man asked that lady to help me with the battery. So, I showed the AutoZone website page that has the battery I wanted. She looked at it and told me they don’t have it. And I told her that this is from your store’s website, with the location correctly set to the store we were in. She seems annoyed to search for the product I wanted. Her attitude made me feel uncomfortable. When she found the product, she didn't mention the price or anything and just asked me to swipe my card. I asked her, “You guys can install it now, right? “(Because that's what the Autozone website said). She said yes. And I asked her again, “You guys can install it right now?” Then, she told me that “ delivery men can install it who have just left.” And she didn’t say anything after that and kept asking me to pay first. I asked her, “How long will it take him to be back at the store?” She answered,” I don’t know? maybe a few hours?” So I answered, “ So, you mean, I have to wait until he is back after I paid for the battery?” And she suggested I wait in the car or revisit the store the next morning. While interacting with the lady, it is clear that I was treated poorly and wrongly. I told her that I will go to a different store if they cannot install it now. She was clearly annoyed and showed me negative body language. I left the store and bought a battery from another AutoZone location(Moorhead). The lady from Autozone(Moorhead) treated me perfectly. After the battery check, she communicated nicely about what I would like to do with the issue. She did not left me with one word like the lady from Autozone(Forgo, University Dr.). I had been getting help from AutoZone multiple times, and every time my experience was great until I met the lady from AutoZone(Fargo, University Dr.). I felt so sad about how she treated me today, and I hope she never treats people this way.
