- BHBlake HollingsworthAug 25, 20231.0Bought a brand new 2022 carry over Rebel 1650 XL with an extended warranty. After 3 hours of use on the engine the trim button on the throttle went out. Took it to Fargo to be repaired as I was told all work can be done at any Lund dealer. They had the boat for two weeks and nobody ever called saying it was done. I called and they said, “oh yeah it has been done for 4 days”. Go to pick it up and I have an $85 bill on a brand new $32k boat that has warranty. They told me “they have received so many issues from those switches that they aren’t under warranty, and that it was operator error”. So there is a known issue, I paid for an extended warranty on the boat which was not cheap, and now I’m getting stuck with a bill that should have been covered by warranty. I would give Lund, not Vallely itself a zero star review for customer service if I was able to. Not impressed, should have went with a different brand that actually stands behind their product.
- TCTony ClobesDec 27, 20211.0Vallely Marine should do floor inspections on used boats. I bought an ‘09 boat in the spring of ‘21 and by fall it fell apart. It obviously had water damage issues prior to my purchase. I understand buying as is, however a dealer to not stand behind a sale at all or willing to help cover some costs is not a reputable dealer. There was no remorse that they sold this boat in this condition. Save your time and go elsewhere.
