This place SUCKS! I called this morning 3/5/26 @9:43am to ask about a oil change some unprofessional girl answers claims she is very busy and can't talk to me she would have to call me back!!! Gave this unprofessional girl my number and I'm still waiting on that call!! Went by there 2 cars in the bay! Guess she was tooooooo busy ALL DAY for my car its 5:15pm at the moment! Still NO CALL!! WOW! I won't ever do business here EVERRRRRR!!
Called up here to get records and the guy that answered the phone was incapable of intelligible speech. Mumbling, super slowed with long pauses, slurred sentences with highs and lows of improper enunciation. You do the math if you think it was anxiety, lackadaisicalness, or substance abuse. Best of all, the company can play it back since the whole phone call stated it was on a recorded line for training purposes. I won't take any excuses especially when I asked the guy what program they were using in an attempt to point them in the right direction of finding records- because I've worked in the industry and used multiple ones. The guy either didn't care enough to know how to do his job, or the company is responsible for his lack of training. No other explanation than one of these two options. If your district manager is the same one who was over these stores when this chain was buying up all the surrounding quick lubes in the area, you need to get on proper training. Imagine if they decide to lackadaisically work on a tire rotation. Are they going to torque those lug nuts? Is the guy checking after them actually going to check? I know it is hard to find people willing to work, however it is the company's responsibility to ensure quality and safety to their customers, as well as training to their staff.

This was my 1st time at Valvoline. I had previously been getting oil changes and maintenance at my KIA dealership. However, they are incredibly expensive.
I did some research on my own to find the highest rated place to take my car for oil changes and a few other things, and Valvoline was rated the best. So, I went to the one off of Robinhood Road here in Winston-Salem. I was greeted immediately, I was welcomed as a 1st time customer. Everything to be done was explained. The pricing was up front with no high pressure sales tactics at all. They even found a defect with a bolt under my car and replaced it, free of charge. I was given an overview of service when they finished and they made sure that I had no questions for them. I am definitely a new customer.
My car battery died in a nearby parking lot. I walked and asked if they could assist as I had been a previous customer. They tried multiple times, multiple ways, well over an hour of their time to assist as the battery was so gone we needed to charge it to get to the trunk to eventually change the battery. They went over and beyond, were helpful and genuinely caring. Please consider Using them in them in the future as you will be well taken care of.
